Success in Early Reading!

Our Success in Early Reading course got off to a great start. The course attracted participants from several schools and got good feedback from its first session. The focus was on a whole school approach to phonics and participants found out more about the new Ofsted framework, research into the teaching of phonics and early reading and looked at activities to use in the classroom to support these areas of work.

Its partner key stage 2 course, Creating Confident Readers, started on 10th October with an equal range of professional learning and practical activities focusing on modelling reading comprehension.
